Happy Holidays Everyone

Sup guys,

I know it's a few days after Christmas, and the snow or dust is starting to settle before the New Year Parties start up. But, I just wanted to wish everyone a positive, prosperous, and successful New Year and hope everyone had a fun Holiday season.

I was reflecting last night, and noticed that 2010 was a good year but I'm gonna bump it up for 2011. I realized how much I missed being in front of the camera, or audience when I was Master of Ceremonies at the KILLER FILM FESTIVAL back in early November.

Going to get some headshots, and submit them for future productions. Maybe doing SFX make-up and acting could be a lot of fun. Just a small balancing act, depending on the production. Plus I'm happy that I'm getting back in beauty make-up, and corrective make-up.

Plus I might have to hire someone to build a dot com for me. I'm horrible with this type of thing. It least I know how to do a few things on the computer, but I need to get more out into the world wide web, or whatever you call it.

These are part of the New Year Resolutions, but I really feel that 2011 will be the busiest one yet. Already got some films lined up, so gonna crack out the fake blood, liquid latex, eyeliner, and blush.

BEHELIAN - 1st Teaser, Short

Really looking forward coming onto this production

Sup Guys,

Been a while since I've posted on here.

things have been great for the past few weeks. The Killer Film Festival was a blast, being a guest Master of Ceremonies was great and so much fun. Introducing all the shorts and feature films, some of the films were very creepy / horrific, and some were just plain fun, campy, and over the top. I loved them all. A lot of passionate film makers also came out to the Festival, and we also had people come from all over the US, and an actress who flew herself from Paris. Just a fun bunch of folks, who watched all the films throughout the weekend, and in the evening partied at the hotel. Where in the basement of this hotel is a massive wrap around bar, drinking, taking photos, and a lot of folks talking about future productions, and their favorite films.

It was great having a booth at the KILLER FILM FEST where I made up a few people that weekend. It was my first booth, and I learned a lot about what to feature or display. So, it was a great training experience.

But coming up next week is a student production with the kids over at Emerson College. I really enjoy working with Emerson, already knowing a few of these folks from previous productions. Gotta create some android make-ups, and beaten up make-up. It'll definitely will be a lot of fun. It's a great script, but at this point I can't give to much away.

As well been designing a series of gore FX for a feature I'm coming in on entitled, BEHELIAN. The effects I'll be constructing will be quite extreme, and I can really create some over the top stuff. The effects in this production will be of a grizzly nature.

Next blog will feature the teaser trailer for BEHELIAN.

Halloween, and the Killer Film Festival

Sup Guys,

Been a while since I've done a blog. Got some time to let you know what's been going on in the world of Two Headed Productions.

This weekend is Halloween and it's ghoulish good times. On Saturday I'll be doing promotion for Frank Darabont's "THE WALKING DEAD". Going to be making up half a dozen zombies, that'll be walking around Salem, Ma and Boston, MA.

Since I'll be taking on as a solo project, I'll have all the appliances created, and pre-painted before hand, to speed up the application process considering the window of time. But I'm really excited about the project.

Come November I'll be a judge at the Killer Film Festival in Foxboro at the Orpheum Theater the weekend of the 12 in November. I'll be on the judging panel, and doing some guest hosting on stage before a few of the films.

Halloween make-ups

Can't believe October is already here, in my case 'tis the witching season'.

I've opened up my schedule this month specifically for Halloween. Opened up shop again, cracking out the liquid latex, fake blood, and make-up wheels.

But if anyone is interested in make-up for Halloween drop me an e-mail. Prices will vary depending on extensiveness of the make-up.

PROMO, BEAUTY MAKE-UPS, and SLIT THROATS

Above is the demo for DEADZONE MAGAZINE, check out the September issue that feature's my new promo.

Viper Productions is at the helm of DEADZONE. In charge is Richard Myles, and Mischa Perez, who introduced us to, "MENTAL SCARS". A real fun film, and I recommend picking up this title for fans of the genre.

This past weekend I was up in Leominster, MA and worked on a show flexing my beauty make-up skills. It was a blast we had some incredible ladies that took part in a Hot Rod / bikini shoot. Then later that night an elegant runway show.

The most recent gig I'm taking on I'm in pre-production on a project that's gonna start principal photography later this month. Taking on a 'slasher' flick, as of right now, I'm on the verge of completing the script breakdown.

The make-up effects are going to be a blast, I really can't talk to much about the production, but I can say that it is gonna have an early 80's type of vibe, set in a rural setting.

Tomorrow I have a meeting with some folks that own a t-shirt company, talking about "SOUTHIE" t-shirts, and sweaters, also incorporating a gothic element , for some t-shirt designs.

Conventions. corpses, and a ton of fun.

Sup guys,

Been getting ready for the convention scene this season. The two that are a must for any fans of the horror genre are Rock and Shock, October 15-17. A great line up.

Plus the other one that's going to be awesome is the Killer Film Festival in Foxboro, MA. Plus I'll be one of the guest judges for the film festival.

Plus things have been busy within the past few months. Been trying to find a few gigs, and it looks like I might be coming onto a horror franchise next year, and working on a horror flick down in Kansas.

Plus here are some pictures from a previous gig entitled, "MEAT ME IN PLAINVILLE". A real fun project that was a terrific shoot with some friends from Emerson School.

August is gonna be a mad month

Sup guys,

Just thought I'd let you know what's been going on in the world of Billy Coyne - Two Headed Productions. July has been a month of much relaxation, and preparation for projects in August.

Starting early in July I've taken on a talented screenwriter and collaborating on a creature feature. I can't say much but think "GHOULIES" meets "NORTH" with a monkey paw twist. Sounds bizarre but I'm really thrilled about this project.

In addition I've been sculpting, and coming up with a ton of illustrations for a zombie project in August. Creating a character throughout the story that deteriates, and by the end he's a ghastly character, and a ton of gory gun shots blasts.

Plus I just got a phone call to work on a short creating eye FX, a ton of gore FX with an old buddy of mine in the beginning of August.

Plus I'm getting into the fashion / garment business with a really good friend of mine. I can't talk about it that much but, I've been designing a ton of woman's clothing.

But I'm really gonna try and give weekly blogs about work, life, and what's going on in the world of the Coyne

Gearing up to be a great week

Well today was a great day hanging out with my cousins kids, had a fantastic old school Italian dinner, and now the day has come to a close.

This week I have a lot of stuff lined up. Monday I'll be taking care of some stuff at my building in South Boston. Having a building is a job all in itself taking care of groundskeeping, some maintenance issues, and making it look beautiful. Plus I'm going to start working out more starting tomorrow.

Tuesday I have a production meeting in Worchester. Coming on this production as the Special make-up FX artist, and a consultant. I can't talk about the project, but I'm really excited about this project.

Wednesday evening I'm doing a beauty make-up for test purposes. I'm really excited due to it being my first make-up on an African American. Going to mix it up and make it a fun make-up session

Thursday I'm still trying to line a few things up. Think I might be meeting up with a few old friends for drinks, then possibly a meeting.

Friday is open and still trying to figure that out.

But I'm in the works on a few projects designing fashion schematics for a dear friend of mine who's starting a fashion line. Providing special make-up / make-up / wardrobe on "Indiana James" a parody of George Lucas films, and sculpting a few different things.

But the real catch is I'm on the job hunt. Been applying all over the place and nothing is biting. But I'm just trying to stay focused, and keep my nose to the grindstone.
